Francesco Albani (Bologna 1578 - 1660) workshop/circle of The Baptism of Jesus Oil on canvas 63 x 50,5 cm For reasons of close stylistic affinity with Albani, this artwork should be ascribed as a workshop replica intended for private worship. It takes up the lower register of the altarpiece painted for the church of San Giorgio, and today it is kept in the Pinacoteca Nazionale in Bologna.
