Jan Brueghel II, the Younger (Antwerp 1601 - 1678) workshop of Noli Me Tangere Oil on copper 17 x 24 cm Jan Brueghel the Younger and his workshop produced several versions of this subject, varying them and collaborating with figure painters. Early versions were executed in collaboration with Hendrick van Balen, later in association with artists from the workshop of Pierre Paul Rubens. The most famous of these is the one in the Kunsthalle in Bremen, painted by the two masters: Peter Paul Rubens and Jan Bruegel the Younger. Another version with characters painted by the workshop of Pierre Paul Rubens is kept at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco. Finally, to express the extent of the spread of this model, we mention the version by Jasper van der Lanen that passed through Dorotheum in Vienna on 24 April 2018.
